What annoys me the most? The amount of ****ing paperwork for the smallest things....

People who cant seem to turn on their headlights when its raining or snowing. Its always the Dodge or Ford drivers too. It takes literally 1 second to flip a switch but I guess thats too difficult for some oblivious drivers....And no, daytime running lights dont count.

Its not so YOU can see....Its so other people can see YOU.

I am exceedingly annoyed with people who think the world revolves around them. Go to a call and the complainant expects an arrest to be made or handled the way he or she sees fit.

If the role is reversed and the same person is a suspect they would throw a fit if they are treated or handled the way they expect us to treat people that have wronged them. Type of people who expect us to bend the criminal law or make new laws on the spot just to benefit them at that particular time.

That and people who think they know how to do our job better then we do. I can't stand the "I know the law" mentality when in all reality they have no idea what they are talking about.

The cab drivers in DC. They hold up a 1/2 a mile line of traffic to pick up a fare in the middle of the street. They don't understand the purpose of a turn signal. They make u-turns in the most ridiculous places, causing it to turn into an 11 point turn, once again, causing a 1/2 a mile of traffic.

Best of all, they hand select their customers late at night, based on their own stereotypes and the address of destination, and I have to deal with all the disgruntled people that weren't selected.

Something that has really started to annoy me is when I'm following a car with the intention of stopping it and they turn into a plat or a gas station to see if I will continue following them.

Also, when I ask someone if they have anything that I need to know about on them and they reach into their pockets even after I told them not to.

I could continue, but I need to sleep sometime...

People seeing me and going "I didn't do it!"
when I enter a room and people tell eachother "well they are here for you!"

constantly asking me how work was and forgetting that I was a human being with non LEO interests before I took this job.

I will have to go with the All of the above.... comment. You gota love the amount of people who say they know how to do our job better than we do and how much they know the law.
