  • Actual Crimes...

On an average, how many calls that you report to are real crimes and not just someone who "thought" they saw something happen?

If, the crime rate was in any way reflective of the calls we get then no one would live in our city. Thankfully, most radio calls are overinflated to get the police to a minor incident faster, or just plain false (like robbery/burglary alarms).
"You're never fully dressed without a smile."

Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

Three things I know for sure: (1) No bad deed goes unrewarded, (2) No good deed goes unpunished, and (3) It is entirely possible to push the most devoted, loyal and caring person beyond the point where they no longer give a 5h!t.

And then there are a lot of crimes that actually occur but never get reported.

Alarm calls? Rarely bonifide. Others? Often inflated, but if it's called in as a crime in progress of some sort, it generally is.
