I was just curious if you become a ICE Deportation Officer in the Chicago Field Office do you have to live in Chicago? I know that the Chicago Field Office is responsible for several states. So can you live in any of the states you are responsible for or do you have to live close to the field office? Appreciate any help you guys can provide!

The Field Office is responsible for a large area and usually has some/many Sub Offices that could cover many states. There is no limit to how far away you can reside from your assigned office/sub office but if you reside more than 50 miles from the office you would need approval/waiver to have a take home g-ride.“Right now I'm having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time.
