Got Rejected from an Academy today!

Welp, I received a letter today with the following message:

This letter is to inform you that your application for the summer, 2007 Police Recruit Academy is not being considered at this time.

Thank you for your interest.

I'm not really sure what to make out of this. I am pretty bummed, but I guess it's time to regroup!

You made a statement. You didn't ask a question. Why were you rejected from the Academy? My Man, I have no idea. At this point, I could only guess, and right now, your guess is as good as mine. I suggest you call the Recruiter, or some Officer, and attempt to find out.

Maybe they have filled the class "at this time".

They didn't say "Don't call us, we'll call you."

It's a form letter. They can't use you just now, and don't want you to pin all your future decisions on a maybe for the next class.

Like someone else said, call and find out ...
