  • Non-LE posting questions in other's threads

Are those of us not in LE allowed to post addtional questions to threads in this forum related to the poster's original question to gain more insight from those who are qualified to answer them? I know I posted one the other day not realizing that it was in this thread, just saw the "public forums" and figured it was ok.

I'm not a cop, but this should sufficiently answer your question:

HOWEVER, is you are a civilian and have a NEW Question or need clarification of an answer, you can reply in the original post. But we will not permit the 'Ask A Cop' discussion to turn into a battleground between civilians and cops...or for that matter cops and cops, or all in between

        Folks

The Ask a Cop section is a public forum. Its not restricted in any regard.

If you don't like what is posted there, simply DO NOT GO THERE.

Moving it to a different category or spending hours moderating what appears there isn't going to cause anything to change.

        Thanks

It is restricted in that Non Leo's can't answer the questions. Just how hard is that to understand ??????

Your answer still contradicts what is quoted and posted above by officer.com. Thus the confusion. Also, remember that you are a highly experienced member of this site and comfortable with its format. A little patience and kindness is always appreciated.
