    Yes, sometimes, sometimes and no. And this goes for opposite and same sex unions.

    USUALLY the couple will be sent to a large enough post that, if one is of a higher rank already, or being promoted to one, than the other, one does not supervise the other. If they are of the same rank, they often will be put on opposite shifts or different units (city, rural, traffic, plain clothes) and not work together, but if they are posted to a large enough Detachment, they may just be on different atoms, watches or zones but on the same shift.
