    here in my state

law enforcement officers under the state retirement plan,
get 3 percent of their gross wages paid into the retirement plan
by the employer, no money is deducted from employee's check.
leo's are hi risk, do 25 yrs and retire or age 55 if they do 6 yrs to vest

civillians get 1 .5 percent, 30 yrs or age 60 to retire with minimum
    of 6 vested yrs

both have the 5 yr drop plan as well.....

leo's sign a oath of office
civillians sign a oath of loyalty

so far only heard thru the forum....ga jailors and their 2 week training requirement, don't think any others a have been mentioned.

many may not like...jeb hush...but i had 9 yr's of high risk that was not
all 3 percent....he signed a law and made all 9 yrs 3 percent.
