I live in the Miami area and i'm interested in becoming a cop after college. In terms of pay, hours, benefits, etc., which police dept is better the Miami-Dade PD or Ft. Lauderdale PD?

DO a search on both. FLPD is far better than MDPD, but much harder to get into there. There are many good agencies other than those two in S. FL as well.In law enforcement, the customer is ALWAYS wrong.
In God we trust. Everyone else is run through NCIC.
Sometimes there is justice. Sometimes there is just us.
I'd rather be tried by 12 then carried by 6.
