I am a high school student and I am going to be applying to colleges very soon. Although I am very young, I have ambitions of becoming a LEO. However, I am concerned that a mild medical condition that I have could possibly disqualify me from becoming a police officer. I have aortic stenosis, which means my aorta is a little more narrow than that of the average person. This condition has no effect on me whatsoever, it is just there. Although I am only in high school, I can already pass the PFT of the Baltimore Police Department (I live in MD) with ease, despite this condition. Do any of you current LEO's believe I would be disqualified because of my mild medical condition? Thank you in advance for your replies.
