  • What should I do (person using drugs in house)

My fiancee and I live in the same house as her sister and her sister's boyfriend, we are almost sure that he is doing weed in the house (he sits outside with a candle lit and a bottle of body spray most of the day when he is home from work), and he will sit in the bathroom (the only one) for hours and then use almost a full bottle (and it still smells "funny" in there). Is there any action we can take? I don't want to be associated with anyone smoking weed (especially if I am going for a drug sensitive position) and ESPECIALLY with my kids living in the next room.

Let's see, as stated you could move out, kick them out, destroy the drugs, join in, stop buying air freshener, etc, etc. there are many things you can do but that's all up to you. It's not like we can suddenly act based off a post on an Internet forum from an anonymous source and limited information. If you truly want them gone than you need to take action. Inaction will put your family at risk a lot more.

You are in control here....................IF YOU WANT this to not effect you later you need to move out.

Having no money has nothing to do with it..............if this is happening AROUND YOUR CHILDREN you need to move out. This even has nothing to do with trying to get hired THESE ARE YOUR CHILDREN that could be involved
Since some people need to be told by notes in crayon .......Don't PM me with without prior permission. If you can't discuss the situation in the open forum ----it must not be that important

Here's your assignment. Re-read each suggestion my colleague's have offered you. Pay particular attention to the suggestions which have you moving out of the house. If you're that concerned about your pending job, and your family, you'll find a way.

                  I would definitely move out.
The sheep generally do not like the sheepdog. He looks a lot like the wolf. He has fangs and the capacity for violence. The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed.

either leave or kick them out. depending on how your fiance feels about her sister and wants to have a relationship with her in the future, call 911 and report it.
sounds like its sisters house though, (from how you phrased the question), so just leave. If youre going for a "drug sensitive position", why would you live in a house with a drug user.

It's her grandmother's house. I have literally 500 dollars... I am not certain how I can just move out, but thanks for the answers...
The sister has medical issues so they won't kick him out, because they are worried about how she would feel (long story)...

Still have a problem don't you? Not saying that to gloat, but YOU have to ask yourself a question. Do you move and thus protect your family and your future, or do you stay and risk it all? Your call Pal, we can't make it for you.

I'm just amazed that a SF NCO is asking this...

Oh come in now. No need to lump all MPs together. If one thing we have learned its that not all the service law enforcement can be like Army MPs. Jus' sayin'.....
