From this recent story us Uber Drivers had some questions:
What do we do if we get a passenger in our cars that are unable to give us a home address? If we call the police or drop them at a station will they get a public intoxication charge? Or is there such a thing as just holding them till they sober up without any criminal charges?
They would have a phone on them would it be advisable to try and call some of their friends? Or look through bags etc. for an ID? Or should that be left up to police?
Thanks.
Steve
