Just looking for a general consensus here. Had a meeting with a local Lieutenant and from what he said is that I really dont have that good of a chance of getting hired until im about 23. Im 21 now so i'll have a few years to go until i stand a chance. Thanks guys.

Fairly recent here. I've been on now for nearly a year. I started at 25. I know my agency does hire 21 year olds. There were 1 or 2 in my class. Truth be told, one of the 21 year old guys was more mature than even some of the 30 year olds.Comment
