On that topic,back in the 80s we had a Texaco fuel truck go around the gates,arse end got clipped,spewed burning fuel on a car stopped at the gate on the opposite side killing an infant strapped into her seat,and had 8 victims,stacked like cord wood by a bolted shut rear door of a barroom(wooden structure).I was second on scene and had to park a block away,as I ran to the scene flames were coming out the sewers like flame throwers and melted the tips of my shoe laces and crinkled the finish on my chlorofam(sp) low quaters.,since that day I have NEVER again attempted to beat a gate.
