I am doing a survey for a research project on the Second Amendment (Right to Bear Arms). I really would appreciate if you would fill this out. I need to have 25 people fill it out. Note on your survey: I voted against the idea of "bare" arms as it is almost winter here in New England. Most folks stopped "baring" arms about a month and a half ago, except on maybe two days - one in late September and one about a week ago - when the temperature did get up there for a while.
I was thoroughly confused, as a good deal of questions revolved around firearms rights and not styles of dress.The opinions expressed here are from the individual only and do not represent the view of any agency that the poster may be affiliated withComment

Suggestion....one of the questions deals with CCW.....I answered that I am allowed to carry (and do).....BUT, I am only allowed to carry because I am a LEO......getting a CCW in this area is almost impossible.......maybe change the question to where you ask if they can even obtain a CCW where they are if they were not a LEO ect?The posts on this forum by this poster are of his personal opinion, and his personal opinion alone

...and your Militia question assumes the Militia is part of the National Guard. It is not. Read some of the early writings of the founders such as Jefferson, and Henry. The militia was EVERY able bodied man between the ages of 17 and geezer. They were NOT government troops. The ones that were opposed to violence based on religious grounds were excused, but still on the lists as members.
When you ask questions, make sure you have your facts right first...
As far as "rights" are concerned; I look at them this way... I don't tell you what church to go to, and you don't tell me what kind of firearm I can own...Comment
