    Will i die if TAZED?

    Im getting my taser Cert Sunday and I have highblood pressure it is under control and has been for awhile..Will the taser have a chance of killing me?
    sorry if this is a dumb question. Better safe than sorry

          Probably not, it didn't kill me and I have high blood pressure.

          On the other hand, you should ask your doctor if you're worried. Ask him twice if you're REALLY that concerned!

              I thought it was strange I had to sign a waiver for the taser, but I never had to before pepper spray training. Our instructor said one is just as safe as the other.

                  In all likelihood it will kill you, I wouldn't do it if I were you.

                    I got tased two weeks ago. Myself and a friend of mine decided to take the 5 second ride instead of the 1 second. Its by far the worst pain I have ever felt in my life, and I've had about ten or so kidney stones. Recovery is almost instant. The only after effects I really felt was my back muscles seemed to be in a slight bind for about 15 minutes after. As for your high blood pressure, the instructor said that this is nothing to be concerned about when being certified. I would be sure to speak to your instructor prior to doing it though. My instructor only asked if we had any back problems, and if so he recommended not getting tased. Here is my video. http://servingwithpride.net/downloads/troytased.wmv
