  • I hate

People who hate cops! So my "friend" said she hated the cops yesterday (Among other lovely statements about them). Since she is rather well educated, I assumed she must have had a good reasons (perhaps the cops stole her lunch money). The reason? Because she got pulled over and now has a restricted license where she can only drive to/from work due to her speeding habits!! Apprently that was the cops fault And today it got me wondering, how many frickin times do you have to get pulled over for speeding to get that restriction?? I know someone who has 2 DUI's with the same restriction, so I figure you have to speed wrecklessly a million times!

The best part is that the cops hate her too!
I personally hate everyone, not only non cops, but cops too. It makes it more fun that way!

Honestly if you let people who feel that way affect you, you aren't going to last long in this job.

Haha yeah. I was more amused at her reasoning. But seriously, how many tickets would one have to get for that?

Typical - I hear that all the time... "Why are YOU doing this to ME"... Hey, I'm just holding YOU accountable for YOUR actions. Problem is, many folks have no sense of accountability. Now I'm the bad guy - so be it.

To get a restriction for speeding means she's racked up a few "regular" speeding tickets within a short time and received a "Negligent Operator" label - or just drive over 100 MPH once and get an automatic 30 day suspension... lot's of ways to get your license yanked or resticted for speeding...

But if you think about it, how many times does a person have to speed to actually get caught??? I doubt she got caught "just that one time" she was ever speeding in her whole life...

Sounds like she is an accident looking for someplace to happen....

Tell her I don't care for her very much either

Its usually about 50/50. Most younger people get tangled up with police in their daily life of horrendous driving skills, and after club drunked antics. They get whats coming, then hold a distaste because its from their experiences.

Then you also have the new pop culture that is bombarded with rap music that glorifies hatred of police, and puts them in a defensive posture with police when they finally meet one.

The end result to that can turn quite bad...

The other 50 pct have family LEOs, or are pro police to keep the afformentioned people above in check. Oh and dont forget the uniform loving groupies..those are my favorite

Good point! I remember once hearing some stat about dui's regarding people who are caught. Something like for every DUI someone has, they have actually driven under the influence 17 times or so. Does anyone know the actual estimate, or what Im referring to?
