I disagree, I thought "moderates" are what liberals call themselves when they are backed into a corner, shamed and resort to "we're all in the middle" party.

I tend to have conservative views, but consider myself moderate. I attempt to refrain from speaking politics at work and sure as hell do not want to talk about religion. I can't stand someone pushing their religious agenda down my throat and forcing their ways upon me.

As was explained to me when I was young. If you're in your 20's and a Conservative you're heartless. If you're over thirty and a Liberal you're brainless. I think the person who told me this was saying I was heartless. I've always been Conservative.

Just don't get angry and full of vitriolic fire. Know that the conservative cop next to you will die for you just as fast as the liberal one.

Talk bad guys and agree. Worthless captains and agree. Bad coffee and agree. Politics, and disagree with humor, but remain brothers through it all.

I consider myself somewhat liberal, it doesnt affect me at work.

Just dont talk about politics or religion at work.......well sometimes religion is kinda strong in law enforcement, something i still dont agree on since im an athiest, but its alright.

A liberal athiest is definately a minority in law enforcement but i dont get messed with. When your working the streets, it doesnt matter who your backup is, as long as they show up and back you up when the [email protected]#$ hits the fan!!

I don't care what your political views are--I don't want to hear them at work.

This post pretty much sums it up better than I could do it. Thats exactly what I believe to be the truth. Working the Ghetto's that thrive on socialistic government programs and watching the failure of how they contribute to tearing this country apart opens the eyes of most Officers.

I knew a few rookies when I started as a rookie also 14.5years ago who were very liberal. Now they are the most conservative minded people I know. It's not so much peer pressure that will change you from your socialistic liberal views but the job itself will open up your eyes to how flawed liberal politics have failed this country, especially if you work in a city.

I was a liberal college student once.....Then they handed me the badge...10 years later I got a 10 out of 10 on the republican test on this forum. Trust me some of the liberalness will bleed out. I didn't realize what really goes on behind the scenes until I had this job. Just like my grandpa used to say, "If we do our jobs well son, the people will never know what a55hats their own neighbors are."
