    Terrorism Trends

    Date: January 10-12, 2012

    Location: NOVA Alexandria Campus
    Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria, Virginia

    This course will include topics covering Domestic Terrorism (Right wing, Left wing and Special interest
    groups), International Terrorism (Radical Islamic Fundamentalist groups), and Officer Safety issues dealing
    with extremist groups or lone wolf terrorist, document fraud identification, Arabic cultural issues and Arabic
    naming. As part of the Training we will study several past terrorist attacks from around the globe, including the Mumbai attacks and numerous suicide bombings in Yemen, Pakistan and Iraq.

    Several new "lone wolf" case studies, both Domestic and International will be briefed.

    The Terrorism Trends course has been offered free of charge to Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement
    officers and agents since 2001.

    This course has a history of filling quickly.
