    Conference Restricted to Criminal Justice Personnel Only

    The Absolute Theft Recovery Team maintains its integrity by protecting the intelligence provided by our agent, Computace Lojack for Laptops. Only the Theft Recovery Team has access to the information and provides it only to the assigned investigator or detectives. The tamper resistant agent allows the Theft Recovery Team to monitor stolen computers without the knowledge of thieves, or unauthorized users.

    We provide you with the necessary documentation and information you need to secure subpoenas and search warrants.

    Evidence gathered includes:
     IP address of user account
     Key capture information that often produce the
    names and addresses of the unauthorized user or
     Remote access information criminal activity or
    user identification to include a picture of the
    unauthorized user or thief
     Intelligence, legally obtained, through Internet
    social sites such as MySpace®, Facebook™,
    Classmates®, etc.
     Geolocation
     Forensically mined intelligence pertaining to the
    unauthorized users

    Seating is limited to 40 attendees.

    The conference will be held at United States Park Police, Anacostia Operations Facility, 1901 Anacostia SE, Washington, DC 20020 with registration check-in at 7:30 a.m. p.m.

    Please use parking area marked for training at the facility. For those taking Metro, there is a stop approximately one-half mile from the conference site.

    There is no registration fee.
