    Recreational Scuba Instructor Course

    Purpose:
    • To provide a higher level of training for the Recreational Diver seeking to become a certified and licensed Professional
    • To teach the Professional Diving Instructors Corporation (PDIC) system of diver instruction
    • To license the qualified instructor candidate to conduct approved PDIC courses

    Prerequisites:
    • Advanced Open Water or Higher
    • Minimum of 40 logged dives
    • Minimum of 21 years of age or older
    • Current CPR/PR and First Aid

    Required Equipment:
    • BCD, Regulator/Octopus or Air II, Wet Suit, Weight/Weight Belt, Depth Gauge, Mask, Fins, Snorkel, and Tanks

    Course Cost:
    • Recreational Instructor Candidate Course and Evaluation (includes all Recreational Instructor Manuals): $2,010.00
    • Course materials will be shipped (normally within one week) directly to the Instructor Candidate
    • Course fee does not include Professional Liability Insurance, Licensing Fee, Transportation or Accommodations

    Add Public Safety Diving Instructor Course:

    Already a Recreational Scuba Instructor and/or work for a Public Safety Agency and/or want to teach for a Public Safety Agency, then you can become a PDIC Public Safety Diving Instructor.

    Prerequisites:• Current Recreational Scuba Instructor in an active teaching status
    • Affiliated with a Public Safety Agency (preferred)
    • Current CPR/PR and First Aid

    Course Cost:
    • Instructor Candidate Course and Evaluation (includes *PSD Instructor Manuals): $1010.00
    • Course materials will be shipped (normally within one week) directly to the Instructor Candidate
    • Course fee does not include Professional Liability Insurance, Licensing Fee, Meals, Transportation or Accommodations

    Certification:
    • Instructor Certification/Licensing will be issued by The Professional Diving Instructors Corporation (PDIC) which is a "World Wide" Diver Training Agency
    • Upon successful completion of the course, Instructor Candidates will be licensed to conduct all levels of PSD Diver Education up to and including the PSD Assistant Instructor Level

    PSD Instructor Course Materials Include;• U/W Crime Student Manual (Print)
    • U/W Crime Instructor Manual (Print/CD)
    • S.O.P. Manual (Print/CD)
    • Diving in Contaminated Waters (CD)
    • Dive Accident Management-EMS (CD)
    • TR43 Vicarious Liability (Print)
    • PSD Training Power Point (CD)
    • PSD Flyer Template (CD)

    BOTH COURSES: $3,020.00

    Courses have been approved by several states for Law Enforcement
    In-Service Training Credit.
