  • Seeking female specific training

Does anyone know of any training offered specifically for females? I currently work in an undercover capacity with my agency, and my supervisor would like me to find some sort of training geared to female officers in this field of work. I have searched the internet with no results looking for such a class, so if anyone is aware of one please let me know!

What type of training are you talking about? Just U/C? Combatives? Weapons? You have to be more specific.

I don't know if Maryland offers an equivalent course, but NC Justice Academy offers Defense Tactics for the Female Officer which is a great class.

I don't agree with your opinion, but I respect its straightforwardness in terms of wrongness.

I would call them and see if they are planning to host this class in 2010.

A Veteran is someone who at one point in their life wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America, for an amount up to, and including their life. That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today, who no longer understand that fact!

ISR Matrix offer some excellent DT's programs that are suited to all officers but are also particularly beneficial to females and smaller statured officers. They have all kinds of military and police instructors affiliated with them and no doubt they can meet your needs via a customised course.
