  • Question for motor carrier/dot inspection guys and gals

Do any of you use a Crown Victoria for motor carrier work specifically scales. I have two sets of scale I need to store safely and neatly inside a crown vic. Does anyone have some homemade or store bought suggestions? Right now I have one set in the trunk and one in the rear seat but I need to empty the trunk and rearrange the trunk lay out. I was thinking a big foam block for each end of the scales with slots cut out similar to the foam inside a pelican case.

Follow up have you used monroe load helper rear shocks to help with the added weight of wheel chocks scales etc?

Since some people need to be told by notes in crayon .......Don't PM me with without prior permission. If you can't discuss the situation in the open forum ----it must not be that important

My new word for the day is FOCUS, when someone irritates you tell them to FOCUS
