  • How do you conduct your traffic stops?

First off, I really how this is going into the right forum, if not I'm sorry and secondly thanks for any responses to my question. I'm active duty military police, so I tend to consider myself less likely to encounter most of the dangers civilian leo's would encounter in town on a traffic stop but not totally immune. It's been some time since I've acted in a leo capacity but recently I am being reassigned to that job again so ide like to see how you guys like to conduct your traffic stops both w and w/o a cover.

It's not the will to win that matters...everyone has that. It's the will to prepare to win that matters.

The way i conduct my traffic stops depends on why i am stopping them, who i am stopping, where I am stopping them and when i am stopping them.

Sorry Dino, tactics generally not discussed in an open forum. But I will say: Be professional and courteous to everyone you meet, but have a plan to kill them if it becomes necessary. Also, there is a fine line between being prepared and being paranoid; find the line and stay on the good side.

              Best of luck!
