Vertical weak side, but I'm the only officer on my department who does so.

Horizontal, strong side, facing the weak side.

No choice here. Policy dictates how the duty rig is set up. The mag pouch is strong side vertical.

weak side vertical. that way i can maintain my weapon and reach for a magazine. makes for quicker reloads.

Used to carry mine this way when I was in uniform. Then our range master told me to go prone and do a magazine change. Couldn't do it without rolling around to get it out. I changed my mag pouch right then and there and trained with it vertical non weapon side (no such thing as "weak" side) and never went back. I am on the state SWAT team now and it is vertical on my vest.

Non-weapon side vertical...MUCH easier to fetch and re-load while maintaining weapon control! Goes for tactical and non-tactical. myo
