Correct me if I'm wrong. But did this chief just admit to allowing a convicted felon to carry a firearm? I see no issue with him being a chaplain, people can change. But the carrying of a firearm is nuts. Thoughts?

In Colorado you can get your firearms and voting rights restored in time. Some states have felonies that don't preclude firearms ownership.

If it was a clear cut case of felon in possession of a weapon this wouldn't be under investigation by anyone.
