  • Explorer 1 person cage vs 2 person

For someone 6’ 5” the explorer with the standard full length 2 person cage leaves little leg room.

Any departments have squads with the single cage behind passenger seat and can you put drivers seat back all the way and stretch your legs out?

    thx

I've never heard of a single cage vehicle but I know of a large agency that has no cage whatsoever. They just let the dirt bag ride next to them !!

Any part of the cage hinder drivers seat from going all the way to the rear position

I'm tiny, so I don't need the seat all the way back :-)

I drive a Taurus (Ford Interceptor) and only 5'7" and it still feels cramped to me compared to Impala
