New Vest

I'm thinking I want to buy a new vest. I want something fairly new technology, obviously something light and comfortable, but it needs to be a good price. Obviously, I'd love to have the best you can buy ever, but spending $1200 on a vest, just isn't in my future right now...or ever for that matter. Unless it's bought for me.

I'm looking for something with a good name and a good price. No more than $500-600.

What do you have now? Is is going to expire? Buy a new gun if you just want to spend some money. A $5-600 vest is on the cheap end. That's the last place I'm gonna try to save a few bucks.

I have a vest issued to me, I just my own for personal use. I'm young (24) and I take my friends shooting from time to time and honestly, better safe than sorry.

New isn't necessarily better. Kevlar has stood the test of time where newer fibers have developed problems. Remember the Zylon fiasco?
