    • Not enough evidence to convict

    • Criticized for workers’ comp issues


    The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office says it could not find enough evidence to prosecute the California Highway Patrol for violation of the state workers’ compensation insurance laws.

    But the office criticized past CHP policies that allowed top brass to retire on disability.
