Wow....bashing the military, ANY branch of the military. Now that's some patriotic shi*. Service to our country, no matter what branch, is still service to our country.
The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, "I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

Hey- does anyone remember a thread where off-duty carry was discussed around here...?

My last reply in this thread for Delta.(you dont want to go head to head with me in Military history,if so you can PM me or email me)Marines kicked the germans butt in ww1 in france,it was the armys turn .In ww2..the Marines were in the pacific theatre fighting the japs after pearl, not in europe.
Belleau Wood-france ww1...germans said the marines were storm troops, because of there feirce fighting, which the germans nicknamed them 'devildogs'
        Guadalcanal....Tarawa,,battle for mariana islands,,,
Iwo Jima-largest and bloodiest marine battle
        Okinawa..
on to the korean war- Chosin resevoir
        Vietnam-khe san,and Hue city-house to house fighting
I could go on and on but this im not,my original argument was against tropper who started the thread, and basicly said his training in the NYSP was superior to any other police academy, plus also stated his service in the AFSP was superior.
So as for one never backing down,I defended other LE Academys and My branch of service.
The above threads were jokes, not facts..if you cant differentiate between the 2 you shouldnt be in LE...
every Military branch has there specialists, you have the Para's in the AF,Army has Rangers,SF guys and Delta Boys
        Navy has the Seals,
And the president and USA have the Marines..
