Don't know, but that appears to be a very good Department with reasonable pay with great career prospects. Had a VIP Tour of the US Capitol Building with USCP this year during Police Week. Good guys! Wouldn't mind working there myself.

Their website says the written tests up to and including January '06 are already filled. I was looking to apply myself, but I can't get a written test date.

Capitol Police has gotten a lot better to work for than in the past I understand. They have expanded thier juristiction in DC and are not JUST sitting post. The guys I have met are really good dedicated officers.
They still sit post, but again they are cars doing police work more and more.
