  • HURRICANE KATRINA and LEO's

Let us all take a minute and say a prayer for all of our LEO brothers and sisters in LA who are not able to heed the evacuation order due to the nature of our job. The amount of lives that are sure to be lost in the next several days is a very sad thing to think about. We LEO's are going to be on the front line of this once in a lifetime event. My thoughts are with all of you, and I hope you all make it through this safely.

In God we trust. Everyone else is run through NCIC.

Sometimes there is justice. Sometimes there is just us.

Let us not forget those who are on their way there for relief efforts. Every FEMA disaster team in the country is staging nearby (including my husband) in anticipation of what will be. Bless those who stand strong in the face of danger and those that rush to it as well!
I do not follow blindly the orders of my superiors, but rather employ that philosophy whereby I do as they would have told me to had they known what they were talking about.

We are ALL here for you now, and after

Everyone of us, is praying to whomever each of us prays to at these times, but beyond that. All of us here are with you now, and afterward (the devestation will be difficult mentally and physically). If you all need anything, I know in my community we are already gearing up to send the physical help you all need. And, like I said, the rest of us that cant make it down to help will be thinking positive for everyone in the area, and please keep us all informed about your needs. We are all in this together (life), we have to help each other in every way. Just reach out..
