educational grants

I am a PO looking to go back to school since I have now realized that I wont be able to get rich doing this. I have ten years on and I can work any shift I want. It would really be a good time to obtain a Bach. deg. that I can use when I retire, or before.

Does anyone know of any educational grants or scholarships for police officers, or anyplace I can look to apply for one or more.

Any help would be appreciated.

Apply to the school that you want to go to and go to FAFSA and fill out your fafsa. Submit it to the school(s) you are interested in and they will have you fill out a school financial aid form and then determine your eligibility for F/A, scholarships and grants. Some schools also have a list of the scholarships that are available and the requirements for them and require that you apply individually for each one that you are interested in.

Good luck, lots of paperwork and essay writing, but you can't beat free money

Also, if you're comfortable with a religious school and with distance learning, Liberty University used to offer a fairly significant discount for law enforcement, it might be worth looking into;
