NYC officers, what's up with this?

I wanted to get the real story on this....I have a feeling that there is more to it. The "victim" was in the area to steal a car and attempted to rob the alleged hate crime perpetrator. Have fun with Al Sharpton coming to stir the pot.


NEW YORK - A white teenager was charged with a hate crime Thursday for allegedly beating a black man with a baseball bat in the Howard Beach section of Queens, the site of an infamous racial confrontation two decades ago.

Police said Nicholas Minucci, 19, confessed to the Wednesday attack, which left the victim in critical condition with a fractured skull.

What do you want to know? If you worked in Howard Beach you'd understand the phrase "Being Gotti". This was 2 groups of mutts who didn't finish the job.

I heard on a radio show that the black guys tried to rob the Italians, and the result was a good beating.

I think its bull**** to charge with a hate crime. It's clearly a political game they are playing with someone's life. The media will not report the truth.

What is a hate crime anyway? Nothing changes the act. If you assault someone, that is what it is....assault. If you assault someone while calling them a Ni**er, cracker, slope, etc, all of a sudder it's extra time. I call bull****. No way the government can criminalize thoughts.

Lesson learned?
If you have to defend yourself and you are in the right as you are beating the bad guy be very very careful of what you say. Don't worry about what you do but make darn sure you don't say anything wrong.
