After a 15-year absence patrolling U.S. streets, an all-new law-enforcement-only Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle (PPV) joins GM's fleet in 2011. Although it's built on the same rear-wheel-drive Camaro and dearly-departed Pontiac G8-spawning Zeta platform, it's not a G8 sedan.
Due to the Juvenile bickering and annoying trolling committed by members of this forum I have started an igore list. If your name is listed below I can't see you.

I've had a bunch of police cars from my '78 Plymouth 440 Fury on up to my current '06 CVPI, three were the '98, '00, and this '06. Had several Caprices in the mid '80s up to my last, a '94 with LT-1 engine.
Contrary to Outshined, I found the CVPI to be a great police car.
My '06 will carry me through retirement, I don't care what they get next.
"That's right man, we've got mills here that'll blow that heap of your's right off the road."
Any reason to get rid of the CV is good with me. I would rather drive a Yugo than a CV, they were junk from the time they were brought out to us. I have not used one since impalas came out which we still have two. Crown Vic was the worst police car ever made and will go down in history as such.
You must not have driven a Dodge St. Regis.
