    Journey

    Ok, i tried to post this under the off duty entertainment section and got no response post. So, i'll try here.

    I saw Journey the other night in concert. They are touring with Night Ranger.

    The new singer is awesome and they were great. It was like closing my eyes and it was 1985 all over again and I was seeing them with my girlfriend back when they had Steve Perry. For anyone who liked Journey back in the 80's I reccomend you going to this show. They started off with "Seperate Ways" then wen't into "Stone in Love" and later when they played "Don't stop Believin" I thought the roof was going to fall from all the fans young and old screaming. It was awesome.

      Who or what is "Journey"? And, is "Night Ranger" related to the Lone Ranger?

                  Night Ranger is from way back---------a Bay Area rock band from the 1980's

                  the original Journey is from back in 1973 again from the Bay Area.

                  you probably worked the aftermath of many of their concerts

                  They were good back in the day-----------------------to tell the truth , I didn't know they were still performing...............of course with new memebers

                      I just haven't gotten into listening to the new singer, it's not the same as when I was a kid. Same thing with Van Halen.

                                  I saw a Journey tribute band over the summer that was just as good as the real band. The singer sounded so much like Steve Perry that I'm sure ol' Steve is kinda regretting being so hard-headed about getting back with the band. It seems more people are making money off sounding like Steve than Steve is!

                                  Anyways, that is one concert I would go to!
