Hahah, no; it's a Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo.
We used to use XR8's, but the tender was up on them and they were extremely problematic.
We also use the Holden Commodore SS (V8), which is what I believe was released as the Pontiac G8 in the US. Here's two of ours. We also have a bright green one.
This is my ex-vehicle; which was changed over for the V6 Turbo; it's a Ford Falcon XR8. The sound they made under heavy acceleration just couldn't be matched

Back when I started, my '78.
Now, my current '06.
In 1999, we started using factory supplied silver in place of french grey at some savings. Below is a '98 beside a '56, both are Blue & Grey, the '98 is the last year for the grey. My '78 up top also had the dark grey tags with blue lettering like the '56 below, we changed that in 1980 ....
I remember some little bits of 1956, like my tricycle, the back yard in DelRio, Texas, Dad's first shop truck, our red & white 56 Chevy wagon, my first Lionel train set, and etc.Last edited by t150vsuptpr; 08-15-2008, 10:48 PM."That's right man, we've got mills here that'll blow that heap of your's right off the road."
