I may be wrong, but I don't think Nevada DOC is represented on this board. If you search, you'll see that all the Nevada DOC threads go unanswered.

But the pay and benefits are really good compared to most states.

I have just been hired by the Nevada Dept. of Corrections. I was wondering how the morale and dept. is? The pay seems pretty good compared to other State Agencies but not compared to the local agencies here in town. These local agencies make an extreme amount of money. Anyways, just wondering if anyone had any input on this agency? Can you make a career with this Dept? Is there alot of room for advancement and hows top pay?
