I was told I can contact the Hr specialist back in 1-2 whenever I get these things handled. Good luck to anyone else in the process and handle credit issues now

Sorry to hear Kiem.. Get that taken care of asap. Don't give up

Contact HR ask them if you enroll into a debt mgmt program, then call a debt mgmt program today that is the fastest way to show that you are in good faith trying to satisfy your just debts. I've been a CIV service employee since 06 and cleared my TS, Secret for DOD, and my BOP public trust using a DMP.

GP has it, I contacted OPM and had them e-mail me the exact process that should have been performed in setting my pay when I transferred over to BOP. I've talked with an attorney and we are ready to pursue this in court. If GP refuses to set and adjust my SF-50's and 52' correctly. BoP currently owes me about 13k in back pay and rising plus interest.

Don't give up, credit issues are fixable and if you can get into repayment and prove it, then you won't need to wait a super long time to reapply.

Public trust investigation. From what I understand it's very in depth and the same as CBP. I could be wrong.

Public Trust background. It's above a secret and pretty intrusive. Same BG check that US Marshals, BIA Police and several other agencies use. They compare it to a step under a Top Secret. They will come out and talk to your neighbors, past employers and etc. At least for your initial then you have a reinvestigation every 5 years with a face to face with an investigator but no visits (usually) to the neighbors etc but you still have to have everything straight.

                            • More on LEOSA.

I had understood (perhaps incorrectly) that once we finished ICT phase 2 at Glynco that we were covered by LEOSA, which essentially functioned as a nationwide off-duty concealed-carry permit. Today at Glynco, an instructor (a DoJ attorney) said LEOSA did not, repeat not, cover us for off-duty concealed carry in those jurisdictions/states which prohibited such carry. She gave NYC and Washington DC as examples. She also said LEOSA was subservient to state law when it came to areas where off-duty concealed carry was prohibited by state law, and that LEOSA did not allow us to ignore such specifications in state law. Any thoughts?

100% incorrect...there are a ton of agencies in DC that have officers that carry off duty under leosa, the one I work at being one of them. Lawyers tell you what they want you to believe in the best interest of the agency not in the best interest of the officer.
