I applied for the Seminole County Sheriffs Office Detention Deputy and just went to my physical abilities, written test, and oral interview and passed all of that!! I have my CVSA scheduled for next week.

One of my concerns are the medical exam, I am unable to see out of one eye because of a birth defect and was wondering if anyone knew if that would be an issue because I know its an issue for most LEO's.

It may bean issue. Does the agency list what the criteria is for vision? I know many departments now do. If you know for a fact they administer an eye exam as part of the medical you should have asked before you started the process.

I didn't know about it until I took my Interview and the interviewer informed me of the process to continue. I asked HR and they didn't have a criteria. Just wondering if someone from SCSO had any idea of what to expect.
