I have heel spurs, which is an auto DQ according to the MEPS documents I read. I wear inserts and have had to get two cortizone shots in the heel over about the last three years. The inserts don't affect mobility, they just provide arch support. Does anyone have any experience re. a medical waiver for this condition?

Just Joe,
It has been awhile since I was in the Recruiting business but for the Army AR 601-210, AR 40-501 and DOD directive 6130.4 covers every branch for medical conditions and waiver's. You may consider getting all of your supporting documents from your Doctor and have your Recruiter submit them to the Meps doc for review. Good luck!
