    not sure if law enforcement is in it, but if it is you can be assessed at a higher enlisted rank based based on your experience.

    i think you have to go thru basic military training if you haven’t somewhere already but not mos school.


    In order to be a CID agent reserve or active he has to go through CIDSAC.

      Right, but usually they go to MP OSUT first... so he could be assessed as E4 31B, then attend CIDSAC and be awarded 31D on graduation.

      I've been out of the recruiting game a while, but I think they required people with NO military background to attend IET even if they didn't have to attend the MOS school.
