He believed the police had put fine threads containing GPS devices in his clothing, vehicle, belongings, etc., so that they could track him wherever he went. When he put stuff in the microwave to fry the threads and GPS devices they contained, he said it somehow alerted the fire department, who drove their trucks by his house, sounding their "sirens of displeasure."
