Yes but don't get your hopes up based off one person's experience. It is rarely that quick.

That is how long it took for theall of people in my class and most of the people in classes around me. The longest that i have heard lately is it took 5 months to get in. They have along of people working in backgorund right now.

Im currently applying with chicago, and I began that process in November of 2006. I expect it to take at least another year before I take the final POWER test. So basically any department that takes less than a year seems like a cakewalk at this point.
