To qualify as an exceptional entry, you must have successfully completed either the WSCJTC Academy or an out-of-state equivalent and have been employed for a minimum of 12 months with a law enforcement agency as a full-time, sworn law enforcement officer. You would have to take the exam with www.natioaltestingnetwork.com and go through the process as an entry-level candidate but would not be required to go to the academy again and instead would start on FTO after a final offer is extended.

Thank you. Are the 12 months calculated from date of hire or date of certification? Would you accept part time cert or only full time? I have been working full time 40+ hrs a week since May and and at part time academy now and will be part time certified in April 2020 and will go to FT transition after that.

Check the WSCJTC link for more info. Part time, reserve, auxiliary etc does not count towards equivalency requirements. You would. have to be hired as a full-time, fully commissioned officer to qualify. https://www.cjtc.wa.gov/docs/default...rsn=2736a9c5_2

You will pay for my flight, car, and hotel just to test with you?

I may apply just for a couple days vacation.
