Any PD's Hiring?

Hello, I was just curious if there actually any police departments that are actively hiring in Washington? It seems by reading on the forums, their seems to be a lack of recruiting because of budgets in the state.

There are alot of PD's hiring, your best bet is too just do your on research. PST can help. It's a very competive market and not everyone is willing to share whoam is hiring.

I'd say there are a lot of PDs hiring laterals and a few hiring entry.

Chadwick- definitely get with TPD Recruiter (has email in the thread provided by Super HKS) and ask him for a list of the departments in WA state.

It not only will tell you the contact info for all departments, but also how they test (i.e. Publicsafetytesting, internally, or through National Testing Network). You can then go to the department's specific website and look there.

It is a tough, tough market, but sometimes, timing is more important than anything. Try, and then try again. Good luck!
