I am wondering if they got a budget approval because i been noticing they are starting to hire a lot lately. My app has been in since opening day for them and King County. King county has closed as well. I got my letter today from them saying i am in the next phase. I like how King County works because they will set me up a time and date with NTN to test alll i have to do is send my application in.

Bummer... I missed this. King County corrections application submission closed yesterday. I did get that one in, just in the nick of time.

Anyone have any clue how many corrections officers King County was looking to fill? I tried calling HR the other day and couldn't get through to anyone.

I spoke with their HR staff (for unrelated to police/LE stuff) on Friday- they said they have absolutely no hiring freeze currently.

Some of the cities within the county are establishing list of qualified applicants too. Go to the communty links then cities, you have to check each city's website to see if they're hiring.

^ thanks, i didnt see any entry level openings but i did submit a lot of job interest cards haha

I don't recall exactly what cities are accepting entry level, I did see Everett and a couple others that had entry level or building a list of qualified candidates for entry level. You have to hit each cities website for employment or go through the police link in the city website.

Sorry, i should have explained a little better. I didn't see any new cities i have not already applied too.
