So right now I am going for my M.A. in Criminal Justice. I am considering changing my degree at ASU and go for an M.A. in Emergency Management/Homeland Security with a Homeland Security concentration. My reason for this is because I already have a B.A in Criminal Justice/Sociology but feel its redundant to have two. The ultimate goal here is to get my masters and pursue a career in federal law enforcement.
I was hoping to get everyone's honest opinion, advice or input on this type of degree. I have heard positive and negative things about Homeland Security degrees and was curious if anyone has a background in this study. Please keep in mind that this degree is from a reputable school in the criminal justice field.
Thanks
M.
