WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED:
This announcement is open to current senior students or recent
graduates of an accredited college/university (the school must be
accredited by one of the regional or national institutional
associations recognized by the United States Secretary of Education).
USDOT IG handles fraud, waste and abuse. The NYC field office does some criminal investigations for the US Merchant Marine Academy police.I don't answer recruitment messages....

Using IRS as an example. There public announcement was open two weeks, but their FCIP was open 6 months.
The IRS FCIP screening process is brutal. They generally are looking for people with NOR of 95-100 or 105-110. Everyone in my interview group had master degrees. The IRS is bringing in 500 new agents from the public announcement but less than 100 FCIP. FCIP is looked on as fast tract developmental in some agencies. 2009 will be the first special agents FCIP for the IRS.
This I believe is the first FCIP program for special agents in DOT OIG."From now until the end of the world, we and it shall be remembered. We few, we Band of Brothers. For he who sheds his blood with me shall be my brother." - William Shakespeare ("King Henry V")
