Alexandria does not have a agility test in its hiring process...just a medical where they test your body fat.

Ahh. I thought they did, considering how much they've been hassling us to make sure we're getting in shape....

As previously said, there is no agility test. Assuming you're a male, you'll need to have less than 20% body fat when you do your medical exam. Females need to be under 26%. As for the running, you really should be able to run 3 miles before the academy to do fine during PT. Best of luck in your process!

Whats PT at NVCJA like, just military stuff? Do they drop you for push ups a lot? I'm not really worried about it, just interested.

Worried? Hah, don't be! Obviously there are physical limitations human beings have. So if they tell you to do 100 pushups or else, and you're on 99 and you just can't get that last pushup out? Just don't give up! It's all mental, so don't give up.

The academy is not tough. If your not a runner though, I'd start now. Just get out twice a week and do two miles, just to get your body used to it. It'll make your life a lot easier come academy time.
