    Agreed....but, its how you use it that determines if it becomes a crutch or not.

    We're given one from the department that is a small 3x4 20ish page book with 18.2 and 46.2 code titles and #s. It's invaluable, but I.ve been thinking of also making just an 8.5x11 sheet that I can "laminate" (scotch tape) to my clipboard with common traffic codes on it. If I get around to making it this weekend I'll send copies around to anyone that wants it.

    Mine is a tri-fold laminated card, a bit bigger than 8X11. One area has standard criminal codes, mostly ones that someone on the road would run into fairly regular, DUI, Possession, Domestics, etc. The rest is traffic.

    Each traffic section is broken down by type of offense...EG: Speeding, RD, Right of Way, Equipment, etc etc. Within each section are the specific offenses and the code section right next to it. Its not too different from any sheet that anyone else would use.

    Yeah, I've also seen folks using the one from lexis nexis as well. Just trying to see how folks set theirs up and use them. One of the ones I got is meant to be utilized on the laptop, while the other is more suited to be in paper form or in a book.

Its always good to see what people place where and how it's organized. 18.2 / 46.2 would be especially good, but if you've got local codes I'll be just fine.
